FAQs

Does it work with the lights on?

Worth being straight about. At 330 ANSI lumens it is built for a dim room — a bedroom at bedtime, or a classroom with the blinds down. With every light on and the curtains open the picture washes out.

Can it project onto the ceiling?

Yes. Tilt it up and the auto keystone squares the picture off. Lying down and looking up is how most families end up using it.

Do I need a screen?

No. Any light-coloured wall works, a whiteboard, or the ceiling. A screen gives a sharper picture if you want one.

What can we read on it?

Anything that runs on Android — Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play Books, Kobo — plus PDFs and picture books you already own as files.

Do I need my phone or a laptop?

No. Android 11 is built in so the apps run on the projector. Plug one in over HDMI or USB-C if you prefer.

How big does the picture get?

Up to 150 inches. The further back you set it, the bigger the picture.

Is it loud?

There is a small fan, audible up close and lost under a reading voice from a few feet away. The built-in speaker suits a bedroom or a small group; use a Bluetooth speaker for a film night or a full class.
